ENERGY RENOVATION OF THE GRMOVŠKOV DOM BUILDING AT KOPAH

We are aware of the importance of preserving the environment, which is why we have successfully applied for the public call for proposals "Public call for proposals for support for mountain sports and recreation infrastructure" with the project ENERGY SANITATION OF THE GRMOVŠKOV DOM BUILDING AT KOPAH.

Short description of the operation and its objectives

The purpose of the investment is to carry out a comprehensive energy renovation of the dilapidated Grmšek House below Veliko Kopo. The investment to increase energy savings consists of the purchase of energy-saving and sensor-powered lighting fixtures, the replacement of the oil-fired heating system with an energy-saving heat pump with underfloor and radiator heating, the renovation of the building envelope and roof, energy-efficient doors and windows, the installation of a solar power plant on the roof, and the purchase of energy-saving fixtures, showers and toilet bowls. As part of waste reduction, a system for grinding and dehydrating organic waste and a vertical baler for compacting waste were purchased.

Objectives achieved by the investment:

  • Renewable energy sources (solar power,...) have been introduced into the building,
  • the cost of renewing energy systems was covered by the savings to be made from energy renovation,
  • We have improved the energy efficiency of the building, reduced energy consumption and cut energy costs,
  • improve working and living conditions for all users of the facilities (employees, guests),
  • reduce carbon dioxide emissions from energy use, thereby reducing negative impacts on the city's environment and mitigating climate change,
  • Improve the management and maintenance of energy systems in a way that improves energy efficiency at a reduced cost.

Value of the operation: 988.359,00 EUR (incl. VAT)

Co-financing amount: EUR 300.000,00

The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.
