Dear guests! Thank you for choosing Kope for your holiday.

So that your stay proceeds without problems, we kindly ask you to respect the following general terms and conditions:

Enquiry terms

Every guest may make a reservation using the following contact details:

Every guest who makes a reservation via the email address, a telephone call or the website is required to provide active and truthful contact details.

We use the data for the purpose of checking the status of reservations and for subsequent communication.

In the event that we are unable to contact the guest (the guest provides us with incorrect contact details), we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

Currency and payments

All prices are in the EUR (€) currency and include VAT.

Payments are possible in the following ways: cash, debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Diners, Maestro), purchase order, proforma invoice.

If a company pays by purchase order, this must be delivered to the email address no later than on the day of arrival.

Communication and the right to privacy

Vabo d.o.o. undertakes to protect personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1).

We also reserve the right to inform all guests who entrust us with their contact details, even after their departure, about any promotions, special benefits and other accommodation packages.

If a guest wishes to unsubscribe from advertising messages, they have this option in every message received.

Reservation terms

We accept all reservations during the winter season for a minimum number of overnight stays as determined for the package.

To confirm a reservation, it is necessary to pay 50% of the entire amount of the planned stay. Payment is possible by transfer to the bank account whose details are included in the offer that you receive at your email address.

Until the advance payment is received, the reservation is not confirmed, and if we do not receive the advance payment within 3 days of issuing the offer, we cancel it.

The remainder of the advance payment (50%) must be settled no later than 8 days before arrival.

Cancellation of reservations

In the event that something unexpected happens and you are unable to attend your holiday, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • For cancellation up to 15 days before arrival – FREE CANCELLATION
  • For cancellation from 15 to 10 days before arrival – 25% of the value of the entire reservation
  • For cancellation from 10 to 7 days before arrival – 50% of the value of the entire reservation
  • For cancellation from 7 to 2 days before arrival – 65% of the value of the entire reservation
  • For cancellation 1 day before arrival or if you do not show up ("NO SHOW") – 80% of the value of the entire reservation

Cancellation must be submitted in writing to rezervacije@kope.si.

Cancellation by the provider

The organiser may partially or fully cancel the contract if, before or during its performance, extraordinary circumstances arise which could not be avoided or prevented.

The provider is obliged to inform the customers of this, namely: at least 30 days before the start of a package lasting longer than 4 nights, and 14 days before the start of a tourist package for trips lasting less than 4 nights. In these cases, the organiser assumes no obligation to compensate customers for damages, but instead returns the entire amount paid to the customers. In such a case, travellers are not entitled to reimbursement of costs.

Mandatory surcharges

In addition to the value of the package, the guest is also obliged to pay the tourist tax and the registration fee. For all reservations, the registration fee and the tourist tax are already included in the value of the package.

Ski pass

In the winter season, for packages that include a ski pass, the guest collects it at the reception of the chosen location. For all packages, the passes are valid from 09:00 onwards, and the guest may also collect it before completing check-in.

When collecting the pass, payment must be made for the SkiCard (unless the guest already owns one), and the card remains the property of the guest after departure. They may use it whenever they visit the Kope ski resort.

One pass is valid for the entire duration of the stay; it includes daytime and nighttime skiing for the duration of the stay (nighttime skiing according to the lift operating schedule).

In the event of the loss of the ski pass, the guest is obliged to pay a deposit in the amount of 10,00 EUR for the production of a new one.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in to the hotel is possible after 16:00.

We hold the guest's reservation until 22:00. In the event of a later arrival, the guest is obliged to inform the hotel reception. If the guest does not inform the hotel in time, the hotel is not obliged to hold the room for the guest and has the right to charge the costs of non-arrival.

All locations provide the guest with towels and bed linen.

Check-out from the hotel is until 10:00. If, upon arrival, you still have outstanding services to settle, we recommend that you do so at check-in or 1 day before departure, in order to avoid waiting and crowding at the reception.

Late check-out from the hotel is possible only with a prior reservation. Surcharge: 20,00 EUR.

If the guest does not leave the room and complete check-out by 10:00, the hotel reserves the right to charge for late departure.

Rules of stay

Every person staying in the premises of Vabo d.o.o. must, upon arrival, register at the reception or via the other registration options. The staff reserves the right to verify the identity of persons for the purpose of preventing the entry of unauthorised persons.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all of the company's accommodation. Otherwise, cleaning costs in the amount of 50,00 EUR will be added to your bill. Smoking is permitted only on the terraces/balconies.

In the event of major damage to property, we reserve the right to issue an invoice in the amount of the damage. If you notice any damage or defects upon arrival at the accommodation, these must be reported immediately and the reception informed of them.

Quiet hours in all accommodation premises run between 23:00 and 07:00. During this time, larger gatherings of persons, singing, slamming of doors, loud listening to music and the like are prohibited.

In the event of a complaint by other guests, the staff reserves the right to one (1) warning; if the matter is not remedied immediately, however, we reserve the right to require the person to leave the accommodation without reimbursement of costs.

Early departure

In the event of a guest's early departure, the hotel is not obliged to refund the hotel guest the value of the arrangement for the early departure. Any exceptions require approval from the management.

Parking

All guests are provided with free parking in the immediate vicinity of all locations. Reservations of a parking space are not possible. We are not responsible for vehicles and the property in them.

Pets

The surcharge for a pet is 15 EUR / night. The accompaniment of a pet must be reported at the time of reservation (or subsequently, at least 2 days before arrival) and approval from the hotel must be received.

We kindly ask you not to take pets into the hotel's breakfast room and restaurant. Pets must be on a leash.

If a pet is in the room alone (without your presence), it is mandatory to place a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door.

Personal property

The hotel assumes no responsibility for personal belongings that the guest brings with them, unless the damage is caused by a breach of duty on the part of the hotel.

We enable guests to store larger valuables and important documents in the hotel safe at the hotel reception.

Compliments, opinions, complaints, claims

Our staff will endeavour to reply to your message with further steps no later than 7 working days from receipt.

We accept all claims for a maximum of 14 days after the guest's departure. Claims must be substantiated with appropriate evidence.
