At Kope everything is within reach: slopes for every level and places to stay right beside them. From the top the view opens over the valley and Pohorje.
The slopes run from gentle blues, where the first turns happen, to reds and one black for anyone after more. The terrain rolls naturally, so every descent flows — you ski at your own pace, from the first run to the last. The season runs from December to March, backed by snowmaking.

For families and beginners
First turns on Sedlo
First turns at Kope happen on Sedlo. The short tow lift climbs barely thirty metres, the terrain is gentle, and the way back to the top is quick enough that an hour here holds more attempts than anywhere else.
Once that clicks, Pungart is next: a gentle, calm slope where turns stretch out and find a rhythm. For the youngest there is also the children's play area with its magic carpet, where the snow is learned through play.

Stay on the mountain
Beds right beside the slopes
At Kope the day does not start with a drive to the slopes. The accommodation stands right beside the ski area, so you walk to the snow in ski boots, drop in for lunch at midday and head straight back out, and in the afternoon your room is a few steps away.
That is what makes Kope so easy for families with small children: the walk to the slope is short, the gear stays on the mountain, and the day follows you rather than a timetable.

Age rules and use of lifts
Adults – aged 19 and over.
Youth – aged 15 to 18.99.
Students – up to 26 years of age with a valid student card.
Seniors – aged 65 and over, or with a valid senior card.
Seniors over 85 – from the age of 85 you are entitled to a free day or season ski pass.
Kids – aged 6 to 14.99.
Kids up to 5.99 – children under 6 may ski without a pass only when accompanied by at least one adult and using the lifts together with them.
Persons with disabilities – persons with a physical impairment of 60 % or more, or with a category 1 or 2 disability, with appropriate proof.
Children under 6 who use the lifts on their own are treated as children over 6 and need a valid ski pass.
Every user needs a pass for the kids' practice areas (magic carpets), including children under 6 accompanied by at least one adult and using the carpet together with them.
